Grand opening of new shopping mall “Haerder-Center” Lübeck!
After a scheduled building period of 13 months the new shopping mall “Haerder-Center” in the historical city centre of Lübeck has been officially launched on 30th October 2008.
Where formerly the well-established department store “Haerder” was situated (inner city, between Sand-, Wahm- and Königsstraße) the new shopping paradise offers an interesting mixture of retail, catering and services on four floors with about 10.500 m².
Additionally the building offers 2.500 m² of office space on the 3rd floor and 208 parking spaces on the 2nd and 3rd basement levels.
In April 2007 SMV was charged with project management services by Tenkhoff Properties. Due to accurate schedule control by the project managers the new shopping mall with about 32.600 m² GFA could be erected in due time. Additionally the SMV team was significantly involved in keeping to the budget by improving the awarding budget of the construction work.
