Project description

In a central location in Berlin-Mitte and in the immediate vicinity of the Museum Island, the Hackesche Höfe and political institutions, IVG developed the “Hackesches Quartier” project with a gross floor area of around 44,400 m² (above ground) and 15,000 m² (underground) with 325 parking spaces. The project is divided into two blocks and several buildings with attractive office, retail and restaurant space and a 4-star apartment hotel with 145 rooms, which was built by Adina Germany GmbH & Co. KG is operated by Adina Germany GmbH & Co.

Project goals

Adherence to the maximum possible gross floor area of 44,400 m² and a rental area of 30,050 m²; adherence to the specified budget and the framework schedule.

Role SMV

SMV was contractually bound with the complete project management of the above mentioned measures. All fields of action were covered over all project stages according to the scope of services for project management services in the construction and real estate industry.

1. project preparation (project development, strategic planning, basic evaluation),
2. planning (preliminary, design and approval planning),
3. preparation of implementation (implementation planning, preparation of the award of contracts and participation in the award of contracts),
4. implementation (project monitoring),
5. project completion (project supervision, documentation).

In addition, comprehensive tenant controlling and property monitoring services were commissioned.
