An office building for 2,500 employees is to be erected on the approx. 20,574 m² site in Otto-Suhr-Alle in Berlin-Charlottenburg by the end of 2016, next to the Deutsche Bank high-rise building constructed in the 1960s. The so-called “Deutsche Bank Campus” will be one of the largest office complexes in Berlin, with an area of approximately 25,000 m².
The new construction of the “Deutsche Bank Campus” could also be the prelude to an extensive redesign of Ernst-Reuter-Platz, one of the central urban development sites in the City West. Other investors are also planning to invest in real estate on Ernst-Reuter-Platz. The Berlin Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district administration is particularly interested in improving the quality of life at Ernst-Reuter-Platz through a redesign.
