Project description
For the Galery of Contemporary Art in Leipzig was an exhibition hall of 1108 mē built. This building completes the ensemble of existing museum and adjoining buildings in the "music quarter" in Leipzig. The concept for the architecture is the variability in spatial order and temporary use.

Project objectives/ Benefits for the client

The highly demanding project could be realised in extremely scanty time precisely in the cost frame restricted by the fundings. After five years the quality of the construction and durability of the building and the used materials, which have experimental characteristics, is higher than expected.
