Christian Wernicke
Emphatic. No, of course he’s no MD, not a “godlike in white”. But his father in fact was a country doctor near Berlin. And that has had its effects on the son. He shows an interest in his counterparts and their problems; a genuine interest. He takes on responsibility, he wants to make others feel good, feel confident. And of course, he wants to live up to his standards. Christian Wernicke needs his room to move but he delivers. Always. Apart from his family, he loves high-rise buildings. And time schedules. Sounds funny, but it’s true. Talking about the custom-made scheduling software he uses makes his eyes light up; where others see a construction pit, he sees complex colourful timelines and perfectly attuned construction processes. He will tell you today on which day two and a half years from now which door will be fitted on the 22nd floor. Or he will tell you that it won’t – you will receive schedule warnings before it is too late.
