30.11.22 - Eiswerk, Munich

O'zapft is at the Eiswerk!

The formwork was placed, steel was braided, micropiles were drilled, concrete was poured, and the formwork was removed again - the shell of the new Eiswerk is in place!

Last week, Paulaner Brauerei and Bayerische Hausbau held a topping-out ceremony at the Eiswerk. After the partial demolition of the former microbrewery and the completion of the structural shell for the new building, this milestone was celebrated on the construction site. In the future event space with the listed ice machine from 1881, which is housed under a steel scaffold due to the construction measures, Bavarian treats and freshly tapped Paulaner beer were served to the executing companies and planning offices.

Part of the modernization measure is also the restoration of the historic turbine and weir by Paulaner. Through extensive color analyses and the assignment of color restaurateurs, these components will be refurbished so that they will shine together with the Eiswerk once it is completed.
