FERDINAND´S GARDEN – BERLIN

 

XIII. BE Volkswohnungen GmbH intends to build a residential and commercial building ensemble on two construction sites not far from Landsberger Allee. Three buildings will be constructed on the northern site and four on the southern site, each with a basement/underground garage, first floor and up to six upper floors.

A total of approx. 395 rental apartments with a large proportion of rent-controlled residential units, as well as 10 commercial units (daycare center, commercial and retail) are to be realized. With the wide range of different apartment floor plans, the integrated daycare center and the green inner courtyards, the construction project ties in with the district's principle of family friendliness. 

The buildings are to meet the KfW-55 standard in addition to the statutory requirements for energy-related thermal insulation.

The apartments are to be handed over to the tenants in the fall of 2023. Meeting the specified construction cost budget and the handover dates for the ready-to-occupy properties are key project goals.
