"AUFRICHTE" IN FERDINAND'S GARDEN

Aufrichte - that is how the Swiss refer to the topping-out ceremony. Last week, the project developers of Lakeward hosted such a topping-out ceremony for the entire workforce of the Ferdinand's Garden project, thus celebrating the completion of most of the structural work and the extremely cooperative partnership of all parties involved.

On two construction sites not far from Landsberger Allee, a residential and commercial ensemble is being built according to the KfW-55 standard. Three buildings are being constructed on the northern site and four on the southern site, each with a basement/underground garage, first floor and up to six upper floors. A total of 395 rental apartments with a large proportion of rent-controlled residential units and 10 commercial units (daycare, commercial and retail) will be built. With the wide range of different apartment floor plans, the integrated daycare center and the green inner courtyards, the construction project ties in with the district's principle of a family-friendly environment.
Construction is fully on schedule. The apartments will be handed over to users in the fall of 2023.
