JAHO House&Loft

Finally!

After very long and very interesting negotiations, planning, coordination, changes and discussions, the building authority in Berlin Mitte handed over the building permit for the JaHo House and JaHo Loft project (Kuehn Malvezzi Associates GmbH) to the developers in December 2021 as a Christmas present, so to speak.

Two buildings with 30,000 m² GFA, 12 floors (House) and six floors (Loft) with three joint basements will be realized here on 7,500 m² building plot in direct and exciting neighborhood to the railroad. There will be so-called pocket parks, which will be the lungs of the JaHo House, roof terraces to linger on, co-working and conference areas, a café as well as a local supplier.

All permit contracts and agreements have been concluded, construction encumbrances have been registered, and the permit is finally in place: The next steps can be taken! 

For the second construction phase, the JaHo Tower (David Chipperfield Architects), the project-related development plan procedure is currently still underway. 

SMV has been involved since the establishment of the joint venture between Art Invest Real Estate Management GmbH & Co. KG and CESA Group.
