House of the SPORE Initiative – BERLIN

How can we bring nature and culture into harmony? Can we balance our ecosystem ethically and sustainably through our own actions? Such questions are addressed by the Spore Initiative with the specific goal of fostering critical dialogue between key protagonists from politics, society, and the arts. Based in Berlin-Neukoelln, the public philanthropic platform for multidisciplinary thinking aims to foster critical dialogue. The locally, regionally and internationally active artists, writers, activists and educators work together to develop a sustainable and empathetic paradigm of coexistence. The Spore building sees itself as a center for global Earthbound Projects committed to ecologically determined change.

The Spore Initiative is a creative space for interconnection of people and nature and focuses on the themes of nature, sustainability, social justice and artistic creation.
